From the Foothills of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, Erie is perfectly located with the view of the mountains and the expansive open spaces. And yet Erie serves as a lovely bedroom community to other nearby municipalities and is just a short commute to Denver. Known for having the largest number of undeveloped home sites in the state, people are so attracted to the area for the abundant variety of lifestyle choices as it relates to homes.

Even cities as far away as Denver can see the famous Hot Air Balloons that appear in the skies every day in the summer starting with the Spring Balloon festival in May. There is plenty of entertainment to experience including the Daddy-Daughter Dance, Fishing clinics, holiday celebrations, live music, movies in the parks, and community Farmers Markets.

There’s no shortage of things to do in Erie where no one is a stranger in this great gem of a Colorado community.
